16oz ground beef (or turkey)
7oz can salsa verde
15oz can black beans
1 can tomato soup
2 or 3 roma tomatoes
1 medium diced onion (for topping)
Shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
Cook the ground meat in a medium pan until fully cooked. Drain the fat and place in a small crock pot. I usually do this step the night before.
Pour in salsa verde, black beans, and tomato soup. Add chili powder until the spicyness level you want.
Cook for 8 hours on low.
After 4 or 5 hours add in chopped roma tomatoes.
Serve diced onion and shredded cheddar cheese as toppings.
